Daily Gather

My mom and I ate here over the weekend recently and when I tell you everything was everything. OMG! First our waiter was amazing! Priest thank you for serving us, chit chatting, and making our first experience here so memorable. He knew the menu options front and back and gave my mom great suggestions on food and the drinks! We started with the deviled eggs and an order of cacio frites. Both were delicious! My mom then had the smoked salmon benedict. She loved it! I had the shrimp and grits. I'm not gonna lie I was a bit thrown off when it said it came with corn in it but I gave it a try and it was so bomb! The corn added a little extra something I didn't know I needed! The mimosa with St Germaine was strong and amazing! If you haven't already, you have to give this place a try!

Definitely my new favorite place to have brunch. I visit houston every few years from Saudi to meet family and this place is definitely where I will bring them next time. The food and the service are great even when they are packed they manage to get to you without any delays. Also the conversation starters were a treat! Love it😍

We came here for dessert only We got the spiced peach pecan cobbler Which we didn't like. The peaches tasted like pears or apples almost like pumpkin spice. The best thing we Jax was the water. The atmosphere was great, beautiful location l. Our server Tiara was good and offered service recovery. Again we only got dessert but definitely will return.

We had an absolutely lovely evening meal here, just a couple weeks before Christmas. We'd asked for an outdoor table, since, well, we're in Year 4 of an airborne pandemic, and TECHNICALLY we were outside but it was basically another room with heavy plastic sheeting walls and roof. Nice for warmth but less so for the airflow we were after. That quibble aside, though, we just loved our meal here. There were 4 of us; we chose a number of dishes to try and shared them up family style, and there was not a single miss. When they ran out of ribs to add to the mac and cheese they were happy to improvise at our suggestion and add brisket instead, and that was VERY tasty. The cocktails we had were fabulous and the service friendly and attentive even though the place was packed. Highly recommended. Go here!

Got the poblano guac and elote cornbread for appetizers. The guac was a little chunkier than I liked but had a lot of flavor from the poblano peppers. The elote cornbread was sooo good, so moist and flavorful. Got the shrimp and noodle salad for an entree and it was so light and creamy and delicious. The citrus creme brulee was also absolutely amazing. It was so light and creamy and refreshing with the fruit.

Went during brunch, expected to be crowed, but was seated upon arrival. We were noticed by our waitress, but to several minutes to take our drink order. Food came out quickly. They say you "eat with your eyes" and that is no lie. The pic do not do it justice. We didn't receive our mimosa until after, which was a bummer, caused i would have liked to sip as i wait. I think the waiter had more tables than she could handle. It's southeast to be said for the location of the restaurant. It's location in a pleasantly nice area with shops and an outdoor seating area. So overall this place is a 10/10

Update to 5 stars! UPDATE: yes, I went twice in the same week:-) 7/20/23 We held our ladies of real estate dinner here and from making the reservations to dinner it was a great experience. John, who took our reservation and helped me modify it (once or twice :-) was absolutely so amazing and he was just so accommodating! We really appreciate his kindness and generosity. Now to our server Austin! Not only was this young lady attending to 18 ladies by herself she did an OUTSTANDING job at taking care of us! We were in awe of her service and couldn’t thank her enough! I’d also like to point out that Brian the bartender is absolutely amazing as well! He had all of our drinks on point! Needless to say we had a fantastic night! Daily Gather is a fantastic restaurant that never fails to impress. The atmosphere is delightful, creating a warm and inviting experience. I have had the pleasure of dining there on multiple occasions, and each visit has been enjoyable. The drinks are consistently excellent, offering a wide range of options to suit different tastes. While my first experience with the food was okay, the second time around was exceptional. The flavors were well-balanced, and the dishes were much better than the first. Brian was our server and he was good. He was Extremely busy and I couldn’t get a good read if we were bothersome or not (we ask way too many questions lol) but he was good overall. Daily Gather has definitely stepped up their game because the burger was amazing. The wings were way too spicy and the fries weren’t hot but overall good experience and we will be back.
